SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

With USDA funding, the Lakes Region Planning Commission is working to address solid waste issues in our communities in an effort to mitigate water pollution and improve the management of solid waste sites.

LRPC provides technical assistance to solid waste operators, municipal officials, and community members. Our goal is to educate stakeholders about the importance of sustainble waste management. Program information and associated resources are posted here.
